Expectations agreement for Hackney Early Years settings and Link Health
Professional partnerships linked to the Integrated 27 Month Developmental
Reviews
Our setting agrees to the following:
1. Read and fully understand the joint Governance and Accountability Framework (2015 version)
2. Identify a suitable individual in the Early Years setting to become the Healthy Child Lead
Practitioner, who can lead on promoting children’s healthy development and can facilitate access
to, and oversee the provision of the Integrated 27 Month Reviews in the setting
3. Demonstrate a full commitment to supporting the Healthy Child Lead Practitioner to fulfil their
role effectively
The Healthy Child Lead Practitioner will need to meet the following criteria:
[ Have up to date Safeguarding Children training (within the last 2 years) and an understanding of
G the content of ‘Working Together To Safeguard Children’ Guidance (2013), DFE
[r Be committed to improving the uptake and quality of the Integrated 27 Month Review.
Be able to engage in effective partnership working and possess excellent communication skills

b Will already have a minimum of a Level 3 in Childcare and be working in a leadership capacity (e.g.

ar Manager, Senior Children’s Centre Officer, Deputy Manager, baby room leader, Special

bayEducational Needs Coordinator) and be in close communication with the setting’s Special

yu Have completed Part 1 and Part 2 of the on-line ASQ-3 e-learning programme and be able to

oyr demonstrate a working knowledge of the parent completed ASQ-3 questionnaires (24 Month, 27

uora Be able to be released to attend relevant professional development opportunities e.g. Health and

rub Early Years Cluster meetings with colleagues from Health visiting and Children’s Centres, and be
