Introducing Community, PAX, and Product Listening Event Leader Script Welcome Welcome! My name _____ and I will be leading the event today. I am part of a team of volunteers whose lives have been profoundly impacted by (or have benefited so much from) classes from a company called PAX Programs. It was founded by Alison Armstrong, and we have been researching and teaching men and women improve their relationships for over 20 years. [optional – everyone asks what is pax] PAX is the Latin word for Peace and it what we most want for you have in your relationships with the opposite sex. We lead events around town to introduce this material to people so we can bring the workshops here and our friends and family don’t have to pay airfare and hotel to get this information. Thank you for joining me, and I’m happy you are here. Background of PAX : In 1991 Alison Armstrong founder of PAX, found out that she was something called a “Frog Farmer.” (Leader note: February 1991, Alison learned she was a frog farmer and started researching men. January 1995, she led the first QC WORKSHOP.) I’m sure many of you know the story of a princess who kisses a frog and he turns him into a handsome prince. It would be hard not to know that fairytale. Alison found out most women turn princes into frogs. Here’s what it looks like: In the beginning, he starts out wonderful: calling you all the time, attentive, communicative, qualities you like, and then after a while it goes downhill and he becomes disconnected, disinterested and lazy. So, in an effort to transform her relationships with Men, she started researching Men, to try to find out what has them turn into frogs. she discovered something very important: EVERY MAN is BOTH PART PRINCE and PART FROG And we as women, we have a lot to with which one we get! Which is very empowering! That is what we have to offer you: What to STOP doing that brings out the worst in men…the frog And what to do to bring out the best in men – the prince. Without using strategy or manipulation or games…. What we have to offer are Simple practical tools that MEN HAVE TOLD US - works better in getting what we need and what makes us happy.
