Jane Campbell Jane Campbell designs and makes contemporary architectural glass for public, private, secular, corporate and Church buildings. This takes the form of Feature Windows, Glass Sculptures, Foyer Entrances, Screens and Entrance Doors. Each commission is very individual to the brief and the architectural surroundings. Jane has extensive experience to interpret her designs into artworks whether symbolic, figurative or abstract. Contemporary glass techniques are used in combinations of large scale glass enamelling, bevelling, fusing, bonding hand blown glass, moulding, sandblasting and contemporary stained glass catching and reflecting the light. Toughened and laminated glass artworks have been installed in hospitals, schools and public buildings. Jane is a Court Assistant of The Worshipful Company of Glaziers and member of the Glaziers Trust, a Churchill Fellow, Prince of Wales Craft Scholar, Fellow of The British Society of Master Glass Painters and an Artists General Benevolent Institution Fundraising Steward. Working on all scales she has created series of windows spanning building facades and large glass panels that extend across building elevations as well as on smaller commissions. Jane Campbell always welcomes discussion and collaboration about new commissions for this country and abroad. Her glass has been exhibited at the International Exhibition of Stained Glass at Chartres, secular locations and in Cathedrals. Commissions have been dedicated and buildings opened by Royalty, celebrities and many Bishops. Please visit the website www.janecampbell.co.uk for further information.
