● Illustrate the value of synthesis for reframing
● Learn journey mapping, flow diagramming, clustering, making matrices
● Learn proper format for HCW statements
● Achieve awesome HCW statements
Time: 45 minutes
Supplies:
Post it notes, Sharpies, Colored Markers, Tape, Blank Paper, white boards, a printed copy of each
example synthesis method for each attendee, the absence of pens.
Agenda:
● (5 min) – Allow teams to debrief on interviews and research
● (10 min) – Introduce synthesis (methods + insights)
● (2 min) – Synthesize solo
● (8 min) – Group Synthesis
● (5 min) – Harvest Insights
● (5 min) – What is a HCW
● (5 min) – Develop 2-3 HCWs
● (5 min) – Share HCW’s + synthesis method & Wrap Up
