PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES OF DISCIPLINE:
I.I. The purpose of teaching is to expand and consolidate students' knowledge obtained in an
undergraduate in their ability to deliver clinical or pre-diagnosis depending on the category of
services, the timely provision of the first urgent care, addressing the issue of the profile and the
methods of admission, according to the principles of treatment for the ground states of women,
and also know the major complications of obstetric and gynecological diseases.

- Anatomical, physiological and psychological characteristics of pregnant women of all ages;
- The relationship and the regulation of functional systems in pregnancy;
- Inspection methodology, collecting complaints, obstetric history of pregnancy;
- Etiology, pathogenesis, classification, clinical and laboratory-instrumental symptoms, clinical
course, diagnosis, prognosis, current principles and methods of conservative treatment, nursing,
medical tactics and medical activities for the prevention of obstetric pathology and physiological
pregnancy and immunological diseases;
- Key indicators of physiological and pathological parameters in cytological and histological
studies;
- Principles of medical and diagnostic equipment;
- Family planning, sex education, sexual health;
- Medical deontology.
