IMPORTANT:
1) You cannot share your RSA token with another user. It is configured for your username and will not
work for anyone else.
2) You must have a Cleveland Clinic issued iOS device to use your RSA token.
iOS device RSA Setup – For Remote Access
Please follow these instructions to setup your Cleveland Clinic issued iOS device for use with the RSA
software token that has been configured for you. You should have received an email from Remote
Access with your PIN. You must have a PIN to use your RSA software token. You must also know your
username and password.
1. Make sure your iOS device is fully updated through iTunes to iOS 5.0 or later
2. Install the RSA SecurID Software Token from the iTunes AppStore
3. Open your email and browse to the email that was sent to you from the Remote Access team
with your attached token
Scroll to the bottom of the email
and touch the attachment
Touch “Open In RSA SecurID” to
install the token
The token is being installed on the
device. Once the token is installed,
you will be instructed to enter your
PIN for the token
4. Using the RSA SecurID software token
Enter your PIN and touch the arrow
icon to proceed
ONLY enter the 8 digit passcode into the
remote access logon point
NOTE: Software RSA tokens DO NOT require you to enter your 4 digit PIN at the login screen
(like keyfob tokens do) when you login to remote access portals. However, you will be required
to enter your regular username and password on these portals.
Once you have successfully tested your token, you can close the RSA application on the iOS
device.
For security reasons, please delete the email containing your RSA SecurID token.
