Focuses on the care of childbearing families and
neonates (during the childbearing and newborn
age). It enables students to provided nursing care
to the childbearing family during the antepartal,
intrapartal, postpartal, and neonatal (newborn)
periods. The content reflects both normal and high
risk care of the pregnant woman and neonate
(related to reproduction) and emphasizes the use of
