Exhibition Rules for Participants
All exhibits are entered at participants own risk
1. Paintings should be properly framed with eyelets/chord to hang.
2. Framed paintings to be labelled on the back with Artist’s name, title of work, medium & price.If you sell
a framed painting you will be invited to bring a replacement.
3 Unframed works should be mounted and have a card backing with a clear protective covering – not
cling film please. They must be clearly labelled at the front top right hand corner giving the same
information as above (2).

Craft items to be labelled where the information can be easily seen, showing name, title of work &
price
5 Cards to be clearly labelled on the front top right hand corner of packaging, showing your initials &
price in £s.
6.EntryFees:
Art entries - up to 6 pieces - framed, plus up to 10 pieces unframed/portfolio - £10. 15% commission on
sold work
Craft entries - up to 6 pieces - £10 – 15% commission on sold work,

Handing in will be at Town Hall on Thursday, 6th August, 9.30am – 11.00 am
9 Collection of unsold works 10th August 16.30 – 17.00
Stewarding is essential for the smooth running of the Exhibition. If you can freely offer your time to
support this community event, please contact Esther Williams on 01243 601848 before 6th August.
