versions- how do they compare
against each other? How do they
compare against the “classic”
portrayal?
 Start to create an outline- find as
many areas of character traits in
common as you can between the
two portrayals. For each trait
that can be compared, create an
area on your outline
Develop your outline:
 Develop your outline with as
many areas as you have evidence
for to compare the two character
portrayals- look at not only how
they are similar, look at how
they are different
 For each area of comparison
have an index card with the
character traits and the details of
the scene in which the trait
occurs- what are the details and
how does it demonstrate the
trait?
