Operational Management – Client Services Stream Position Title: Analyst, Workflow and Process Design Classification: APS 6 Reports to: Director, Workflow and Process Design Direct Reports: nil Agency size: around 500 FTE at present Location: Sydney/Geelong Position Overview As an Analyst, Workflow and Process Design you will have experience in analysis within a service delivery or similar organisation. You will be using your excellent quantitative and interpersonal skills to make to seek out opportunities for increased efficiency in workflow and business processes. You will develop tools and systems to monitor workflows and analyse productivity to guide resource allocation decisions. You will be focussed on delivering tangible outcomes and products that assist the staff of the agency to do their job more effectively. Duties Your role will be to assist in resource and process modelling to the Agency service delivery and support functions across the network. You will provide quantitative and process analysis to drive productivity and model alternative resource allocation methodologies based on direct observation and continual feedback from service delivery teams. You will be accountable for; Helping build and maintain the Agency capabilities in resource modelling and workflow and process design Assisting in the development of based costing and associated resource modelling options Identifying the needs for tools and information to agency staff to understand, monitor and improve their productivity Assisting in coordinating forums to build competency and expertise across the network in understanding performance, in particular ensuring the growth of and sharing of local solutions and approaches to streamline resource usage Identifying system and procedural changes required and liaising with IT capabilities to address inefficiencies and continually refine processes Contributing to the evaluation of the Agency productivity Personal Attributes The Assistant Director, Workflow and Process Design will have demonstrated the following attributes: An inquiring mind and is flexible and responsive to stakeholder needs.
