Eligibility is open to any 12th grader. Essays must be 800-1600 words
and mailed with a cover sheet containing required information. Or

Bennington Young
Writers Award
Students in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades during the current
academic year may enter one of the following categories: poetry (a
group of three poems), fiction (a short story or one-act play) or nonfiction (a personal or academic essay). All entries must be original
work and sponsored by a high school teacher.

Democracy Essay Contest
Open for students in grades 9-12, students compete by writing and
recording an audio essay on an annual patriotic theme. This year’s
theme is:
My Vision for America.

Idaho Scholarship
Program
Recipients must pursue a bachelor’s degree at the University of Idaho
(CDA or Moscow campuses only), or Lewis Clark State College (CDA
and Lewiston Campuses only), or students may start their studies at
North Idaho College for up to two years and then transfer to the
University of Idaho or Lewis Clark State College.
Provides financial Assistance to students in the State of Idaho who
have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal
adversity and who aspire to pursue higher education.

Sustainability
Scholarship
Over the past 2 years, must have completed a minimum of 50
hours of volunteer work and have maintained a GPA of 3.5 or
greater. You must submit an essay on the topic prior to the
deadline.
If you’re a high school senior applying for college and you have
an interest in sustainability and the environment, then we’d love
