A huge THANK YOU to the Friends of St Patrick’s they raised £314 at the Christmas
Bingo and £1,028.60 at last night’s Christmas Party. We really appreciate all their hard work
throughout the year and thank you to everyone who supported these events. I would like to
give a special thank you to those who helped with setting up, manning stalls and clearing up.
Christmas Lunch
Thank you to Mrs Sullivan, Mrs Calder, Mrs Sheridan and Miss Bull, our Catering staff, for
producing a lovely Christmas lunch on Wednesday.
Enrolment Confirmation
On Sunday 13 December there will be an Enrolment mass for Year 6 Confirmation children at
St Peters at 9am.
Christmas Carols
The children in Year 3 will be visiting Wolseley on Monday 14 December to sing Christmas
Carols for the staff. This is an annual event which is enjoyed by everyone. Wolseley has told
us it is the highlight of their year.
Christmas Carol Concert
On Thursday 17 December at 2.00pm Years 3 to 6 will be performing a Carol Concert.
Everyone is welcome, please come along and support the children who have been working
extremely hard.
Alton Castle
The time for full payment of this trip is fast approaching. The trip must be paid for in full by
Friday 18 December. If you have not already done so please return the medical consent form
that was issued at the meeting.
New Website
Please visit our new school website www.stpatricks-lspa.com. If you search for St Patrick’s in
your search bar our old site will be shown.
Parking in the local neighbourhood
We continue to receive complaints from residents living near to school who have their drives
blocked or paths made inaccessible. The advice from the council and police is for residents to
take photographic evidence so that tickets can and will be issued. Please be extra considerate
at this time of year as we have evening events such as the bingo, the Christmas party and the
Nativity.
Christmas Jumper
On Friday 18 December we are asking the pupils to wear a Christmas jumper instead of their
school jumper/cardigan over their school uniform. We are not asking for any donations.
Please do not go to any expense if your child does not own a Christmas jumper.
Yours sincerely
Miss C Walsh

Ice cream parlour in Leamington.
They all made snowflakes to take

the shop. As their reward,
everyone chose their favourite
ice cream to eat. Bubble gum
flavour was a hot favourite!
