Final Transcript Request Forms:
Before colleges officially accept seniors, they must receive a final transcript. High schools also
need to know what each senior plans to do next year. We meet both these needs by having seniors
complete a FINAL TRANSCRIPT REQUEST FORM. It doubles as a survey for next year’s plans as
well as a request to have that final transcript sent to the college they have decided to attend.
Graduation tickets will be withheld if forms are not turned in.
NOTE: If you took a dual enrollment class then you must request that your transcript be sent directly from the
college awarding the credit to the college you will be attending in the fall. To request a transcript from
Spartanburg Community College go to http://www.sccsc.edu/transcripts/; to request a transcript from USC
Upstate go to http://registrar.sc.edu/html/transcripts/default.stm.
Cap and Gown:
In order to participate in graduation, seniors must have a cap, gown and tassel. These are
ordered through Jostens Campus Supply. Josten’s number is 574-3518. Seniors that have not
ordered their graduation supplies need to do this as soon as possible. Seniors do not have to buy
expensive packages from Jostens; however, seniors must purchase a cap, tassel and gown. The cost
for these three items is around $80.00.
Honors Day:
Honors Day will be May 20th at 9:00 am in the arena. Seniors must be in the arena by 8:30am.
All guests (senior parents are guests) should be seated by 8:45am. It should be over by 11:00am.
Seniors, please bring copies of all scholarships offered (even if you are not going to
accept) to Mrs. Polson in guidance. Only scholarships turned in will be listed in the
Honors Day Program. Deadline is May 5th. If a scholarship is not turned in to guidance
by May 5th, it will not be acknowledged in the Honor’s Day booklet. There is not a practice
for Honors Day. Students should be dressed appropriately.

graduation is outside, each graduate will receive 10 tickets. If graduation has to be
moved inside, each graduate will receive 4 tickets.
