A special concert will be held right here at Corpus Christi
on July 20th at 1:30 p.m. entitled “Proclaim God’s
Marvelous Deed”. This concert will feature Donna Marie
Chmiel, Linda Orszulak playing the organ and others. The
bus trip is scheduled for October 3rd, 4th, and 5th, just in
time to co-inside with the Feast of St. Faustina. A free
will donation will be accepted to help fund the bus
pilgrimage.

Father Mariusz will be absent until July 14th.
Parade Time
The annual Pulaski Day Parade and Polish Festival are
scheduled for July 19th and 20th, in Cheektowaga Town
Park, just off Harlem Road. We are looking for those
adventurous folks who would like to walk with us as a
united parish. You don’t need any special experience, just
be willing to smile, wave and have a great time. We will
have decided who Miss Dożynki is and we will have a
float. Come on and have some fun with the Parish. We
could all use a good time. We will meet in the Thruway
Plaza Parking lot at 12:30. Call the office is you need more
assistance.
Dożynki 2014
Our 35th Dożynki will take place right here on the grounds
of Corpus Christi. The dates are August 15th, 16th and 17th.
Tell everyone you know that contrary to all the false
information out there, IT’S ON! RIGHT HERE! Our
Special Mass and Festival is known all round Western NY.
People are calling from Rochester, Lockport and Erie, PA.,
to get the scoop about it. So it’s time for us to get excited
also, come to the next planning meeting on July 8th, at
6:30 p.m. in the Kolbe center.
Clean Up Volunteers Needed
There will be a community wide clean up July 26th, at
9:00 a.m. We have been asked to participate by the Matt
Urban Center. We will clean up on Sears and Playter where
we have property. This event will include cutting grass,
prunning shrubs and picking up litter. Plastic trash bags
will be provided but you are encouraged to bring your own
lobbers, rakes, gloves, etc. Together we can get this job
done really fast. Call the office to let me know you are
interested in volunteering.
Dożynki Theme Baskets
Planners are looking for donations of theme baskets for
the 2014 Dożynki Festival. The basket raffles have raised
over $5,000 last year & $6,000 the year before. Please make
sure all items are NEW & UNUSED, anything else cannot
be utilized. If necessary, kindly check expiration dates, to
insure freshness. Please drop off your donations or the
assembled baskets to the rectory or contact Suzie Stempien
at 861.4616 or Vicki Moroz for pick-up. Cash donations
are also graciously accepted. Thanks in advance for your
help.
St. Mary of the Angel’s Convent
There will be a Garage Sale, Saturday, July 26th from 8:30
a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at St. Mary of the Angel’s Convent, 201
Reist Street, Williamsville. Refreshments will be provided.

This is the First Announcement that the Society of Our
Lady of Divine Mercy is sponsoring a bus trip pilgrimage
to the Divine Mercy Shrine, in Stockbridge, Mass.
Golden & Diamond Anniversaries
The Diocese of Buffalo wishes to honor couples who will
observe their 50th, 60th and 70th wedding anniversaries and
recognize the beauty of their faithfulness, sacrifice,
chalenges and comforts in daily married life. It would be
their privilege to invite couples who are celebrating these
milestones to a special Mass in St. Joseph’s Cathedral on
Sunday, November 16th at 3:00 p.m. Please contact our
