Your school/college has agreed to take part in data collection for Cambridge University for studies into all aspects of the English language including the English Profile Programme (www.EnglishProfile.org). We are collecting samples of spoken and written English from learners around the world which will allow us to discover in more detail what learners can do at various stages of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). At the same time we are collecting information about the learners and the educational context (teachers, class materials etc.) that will help us understand the relationship between, for example, the age when students start learning English and their progress.
