with school projects and initiatives such as Walk to School Week, Healthy Schools Week.
Anti-Bullying/Respect

The aim of the workshop is to give children a understanding of how bullying can affect people and to give the children a
understanding of how small things they do can have a massive effect on the person they involve. The Workshop is split in
half to involve activities in a sports hall/playground and half classroom based activities
Fun and Fitness

The workshops aim is to be inclusive to all children to encourage and promote keeping fit regardless of any negative
experiences they have had in the past. The children will do individual skills and also take part in team games to promote
working together and teamwork as well as getting a positive experience of keeping fit. Which will then stay with them and
have a healthy benefit to them in future.
Healthy living

a 30 minute classroom based programme on healthy eating and the five food groups, followed by a 30 minute outside
fitness exercise highlighting the importance of exercise to stay healthy.

encourage participation and discussion from the children.
YCFC Foundation recognise that it is important for children to have an understanding about health and wellbeing and
hopefully by participating in such a programme, will enable children to engage with healthy eating and exercise as part of
their everyday life. The class exercises are designed to help young people acquire the knowledge, attitudes, values and
skills needed to adopt healthy lifestyles from a young age. As well as actively encouraging the parental awareness of
health and wellbeing and the need for such healthcare.
