Dr. Nancy Bacharach received her Ph.D. from Texas A & M University and following three years as an assistant professor at Syracuse University, moved to the Department of Teacher Development at St. Cloud State University. Dr. Bacharach has served as the Interim Associate Dean in the College of Education along with her role as a Professor. She was the principal investigator of two large federal grants including a Fund for the Improvement of Post-Secondary Education (FIPSE) and a Teacher Quality Enhancement (TQE) grant that allowed for the creation, implementation and research on a co-teaching model of student teaching. Dr. Bacharach is currently the Co-Director for The Academy for Co-Teaching and Collaboration at St. Cloud State University. She has published and presented in the areas of collaboration, coteaching, professional development schools, and innovative teacher preparation programs.
