Research a World War II battle or a person who was involved in the war and create a project of your choice.
You will need to research the following items and include them in your project. Feel free to be creative! You
will then briefly present your battle or person to the class. Here is what you will research:
If you choose a Battle:
o Who – countries, any important historical figures, generals, etc.
o What – a brief summary of events in the battle
o When - date of the battle
o Where - location of the battle
o Why - why this battle was important in the war
o Who won the battle and additional interesting facts about the battle
If you choose a person or group of people:
o Who – who is your person, important background information
o What – a brief summary of why your person was important in history
o When - dates of the battles and their involvement in WWII, any other important dates
o Where - location where this person was involved in WWII
o Why - why this person was important in the war
o Other - anything else you find that you would like to share about your person or group of
people
