Kilglass Gaels Ladies AGM takes place on Wed 16th at 7.30 in Clubrooms. All members please attend.
D KUBE Fundraiser Meeting will be held on Thurs 17th Dec in clubrooms at 8.30pm. As one of the
biggest fundraiser events taken on by Kilglass Gaels we need in the region of 50 stewards, kitchen, bar, door
staff etc we are asking all members, players and supporters to attend this meeting to familiarise themselves
with the proposed plan and thus ensure the successful running of the event. If unable to attend the meeting
on 17th but available to help please contact Charlie Reynolds (0871252985) beforehand stating the
particular area in which you are interested. Depending on numbers, it is envisaged that everyone will have a
opportunity to watch some of the proceedings throughout the night.

Well done to all concerned in last Saturday night’s 'D Kube' fundraiser launch in Cox’s. The event
received a number of substantial sponsorship deals. Michael James and Pauline Cox (Hollybrook
Developments) and Paddy & June Kiernan (Kiernan Construction) were announced as the main sponsors of
the event while Ward Bros Quarry and Plant Hire Ballyfeeney are sponsoring the door prize; Knockhall
Farms also gave a substantial donation towards the event. All sponsors names will be displayed in our
special souvenir programme. Sincere thanks to all sponsors for their generosity. Tickets are now on sale at
€20 which includes entry to the event and the chance to win €1000 door prize. Members of the committee
will be calling to all houses in the parish over the next number of weeks. Your support for this event would

Sunday 6th is designated GAA National Health & Well Being Day – The More You Move, the Better
your Mood Initiative” As part of this initiative, Kilglass Gaels are calling on all club members to take a
walk, run or jog at least twice around the pitch on Sun 6th between 11a.m. and 2p.m.
BADMINTON continues on Wednesdays at 8.30. New members are very welcome.
Darts continues in Kilglass Community Centre on Wednesday nights at 9p.m. Last Week’s results: No
shanghai jackpot winner, highest score Tommy Washington. New players welcome.
Kilglass/Tarmonbarry Scouts Christmas Fair & Family Fun Day takes place on Sunday 6th Dec in
Rooskey Comm. Centre from 2pm to 6pm. A selection of stalls including cakes; gifts; crafts; beauty
products, etc. We'll have tea/coffee and mulled wine, Also raffles; colouring competition; face painting; fun
games and even some dancing. Santa will arrive on the day. Each child will receive a gift from Santa. Don't
forget to bring your camera/phone if you wish us to take family photos with Santa. Come along and kick
your Christmas off with us. Everyone invited to attend.

CHRISTMAS OPENING - OUR LADY OF MOUNT CARMEL CHURCH

Leitrim’s 12th Annual GOAL Mile takes place, as usual, in the Bornacoola GAA Grounds on New

Roscommon Solstice Choir begins its third Christmas Season of Charity Concerts on next Fri 11th Dec
in St. Anne's Church, Scramogue at 7.30 pm. The concert is in aid of church restoration funds and
features special guests Dave Lalor and Carmel McLoughlin, of Glór Tíre fame. Tickets are
only €10. On Sunday 13th Dec, the choir will perform in St. Teresa's Church, Ballintogher, Co. Sligo,
again for the church restoration funds. Tickets for both concerts are available locally. All welcome. Great
night of music guaranteed.
