Kindergarten Art with Mrs. DeGroot
We have been learning basic art room procedures, practicing fine motor skills by learning proper tool usage and have covered the following art concepts: line and pattern, textures, colors, shapes; including practicing these skills: drawing, coloring, painting, cutting, folding, tearing, gluing, tracing, and writing and fostering imagination with the following art projects:
Crayon and paint resist “clouds”
Mondrian “bunny” with markers
“Waves in the ocean” manipulative with yarn
Pipe cleaner and button “bling-bling” bracelet
Swimming whirligig design
Pumpkin patch with vines and a scarecrow
Friendly spider in a web
Harvest corn painting
