Dear Parents,
Welcome back I hope you had a fantastic summer holiday. It is lovely to see everyone back.
This newsletter has items regarding the operational running of the school. A list of clubs is
also attached. At the beginning of next week you will receive dates for the Year and a letter
detailing what your child is learning in school.
Uniform
Please ensure that ALL children wear school uniform and black shoes. Please also note
there are no extreme hairstyles allowed. Also, please can you ensure that every piece of
uniform has your child’s name in.
Make up
Make up and nail varnish is not allowed.
Jewellery
Please note only sleepers or studs may be worn as earrings and these will need to be
removed on PE days. Also if your child has long hair it will need to be tied back.
PE kit
You will remember that prior to the summer I wrote several times saying that from
September 2015 we are implementing uniform for PE please.
We ask that all pupils wear black shorts and red or white plain T shirts. All pupils will need a
change of T shirt for PE.
Arrival and departure from school
Please can you ensure that you arrive promptly and collect pupils promptly. Please can you
also ensure that you notify teachers who will be collecting your child.
Wrap round care for Nursery, breakfast and after school club
Wrap round care, breakfast club and after school club are on offer from this week onwards.
Contact forms
Please can you complete the forms that are coming home today and return them to your
child’s class as soon possible.
Safeguarding
Please remember that Children’s safety is the utmost priority. I have attached the school
leaflet on protocols.
