Abstract The purpose of this study was to explore the relationships among interpersonal communication skills, emotional labor and teacher self-efficacy of junior high school teachers in Keelung City. This research investigated the current state of interpersonal communication skills, emotional labor and teacher self-efficacy by examining background variables. And then, analyze the interrelation of each other and to detect the differences. In this study, ends, "junior high school teachers of interpersonal communication skills, emotional labor and teacher self-efficacy questionnaire” as a research tool to Keelung City teachers in public junior formal study, the purposes of the questionnaire survey, a total of 351 valid questionnaires were obtained. Then the statistic data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation and regression. The results are as follows: 1. Teachers of interpersonal communication skills, Emotional labor and the teachers are all in the high degree of self-efficacy in Keelung City Junior high school. 2. Interpersonal communication skills by junior high school teachers were significantly different depending on different background variables of age and teaching years. 3. Emotional labor by junior high school teachers were significantly different depending on different background variables of school jobs. 4. Teacher self-efficacy by junior high school teachers were significantly different depending on different background variables of age, teaching years and marital status. 5. Junior high school teachers of interpersonal communication skills, emotional labor and teacher self-efficacy significant positive correlation. 6. Junior high school teachers of interpersonal communication skills and emotional labor on the overall self-efficacy have significant predictive power, of which the cultural dimensions of communication on the overall efficacy of the highest prediction. Finally, based on the results of this study and to provide education-related units and personnel and suggestions related to future researchers.
