Job Description: Fellowship Director of TAMID Israel Investment Group Location: Tel Aviv, Israel TAMID Israel Investment Group seeks an energetic, motivated, communicative and organized professional to serve as Fellowship Director for the TAMID Fellowship, a competitive, 8-week summer internship program that provides outstanding TAMID leaders with the opportunity to work with host companies in Israel. About TAMID: The TAMID Israel Investment Group is a nonprofit, apolitical, and areligious organization that develops the professional skills of undergraduate students through hands-on interaction with the Israeli economy. TAMID integrates the next generation of entrepreneurs and business professionals with Israel through a comprehensive education curriculum, pro-bono consulting for Israeli startups, capital market investment research, and a summer internship program in Israel. Driven by student leadership, TAMID has expanded to 24 campuses in the US and Israel, with membership nearing 1,200 students. Detailed Job Responsibilities: 1. Work with the program provider to set up all logistical components of the TAMID Fellowship for up to 80 fellows including: Working with current TAMID Student and Professional leadership to become familiar with the program; Help finalize the fellowship cohort in collaboration with the professional and student leadership; Work with the fellowship cohort to book flights and transportation to Israel; Work with the housing provider to finalize housing assignments; Assist the fellows with acclimating to life in Israel; Manage travel stipends for fellows 2. Organize and secure all internship placements for the fellows This will be done in collaboration with TAMID’s student and professional leadership; This will require attending meetings and networking events as needed 3. Execute programming for the Fellows Develop a curriculum for the summer fellows, utilizing existing TAMID relationships and connections as well as building new ones; Coordinate ongoing professional development opportunities including attendance at business conferences, network gatherings, and other related opportunities; Schedule dinners, meetings and shabbatons with Israeli business leaders; Plan educational excursions and social events (budget dependent) 4. Provide on-the-ground support for the fellows at all times during the fellowship program; 5. Conduct regular group and one-on-one meetings with both fellows and host companies 6. Hold bi-weekly calls with the Executive Director to keep updated on progress 7. Work with TAMID Student and Professional Leadership to manage public relations and social media as related to the fellowship including: Fellowship blog, Facebook/Twitter/Instagram posts Compile fellowship news for TAMID website and newsletter Act as the TAMID spokesperson in all Israeli Media 8. Work with student leadership in TAMID Consulting on an as-needed basis 9. Ensure proper evaluation of the program for both fellows and host companies 10. Provide a comprehensive end-of-fellowship report 11. Other tasks as identified by the Executive Director The ideal candidate will have: 3-5 years of work experience, direct supervision of multiple staff members or volunteers a plus Bachelor’s degree required Ability to anticipate, plan and prioritize A desire to work directly with highly-motivated undergraduate students Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong relationships Proven to be goal-oriented, project-oriented and achievement-oriented Excellent oral and written communication skills Passion for the work and mission of TAMID Israel Investment Group Experience in organizational development, technology start-ups, business and entrepreneurship An extensive network in Israel with connections to the business community, particularly in the technology startup arena Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
