Temasek Foundation Leadership
Enrichment and Regional Networking
(TF LEaRN) Programme@NUS, aims to
groom NUS students and select
inbound exchange students from
ASEAN and Asia to be the next
generation of Asian leaders. Students
participate in the Student Exchange
Programme (SEP) of one semester
(August-December and January-May)

universities in Asia/ASEAN, and are
immersed in activities that develop
their leadership potential, promote

LEaRN Programme@NUS
Be full-time undergraduate
students who have completed at
least one year of study in their
home universities
Be nationals of the country from
which they are applying
Demonstrate fluency in English
Be in the top 10% of their
academic cohort
Display exceptional leadership and
/or community service experience

Recipients from partner
universities receive up to S$6000
each. This award helps to cover
airfare, accommodation, books
and other expenses.
Students will be required to apply
online for on-campus housing
when applying for exchange to
NUS.

Academic Performance
TF Scholars will take three to four
modules during their exchange
semester at NUS. They must
receive a minimum overall
Cumulative Average Point (CAP) of
3.0 out of 5.0.

Community Involvement
Inbound TF Scholars are required
to spend a minimum of 15 hours
on at least one community
involvement project.

Host Family Programme
Inbound TF Scholars will be
attached to a host who is a former
NUS TF Scholar. They are strongly
encouraged to meet their hosts to
network, build relationships and
familiarise themselves with local
life in Singapore. Do note that
there is no home-stay involved.

Participation in all TF LEaRN
activities
Examples of activities conducted
are the Introductory Briefing,
ASEAN Learning Journey, Temasek
Learning Journey and Service
Learning Workshop.


TF Scholars are required to
share their experience and
learning with fellow students
in their home countries and
with fellow TF Scholars

when called upon by IRO.
