Course description:
Clap Your Hands
A group music class for children 3-5 years old. In a class of up to 10 kids, our teachers engage children
with music, rhythm, and movement. Children experience a variety of carefully paced age appropriate
activities: dance, singing, storytelling, art, and movement. Musical props such as shakers, hula hoops,
ribbons, balls, bean bags, and percussion instruments add to the fun.
Tuition:
$10 for 45 minute class, 4 sessions for $30, 10 sessions for $75
Scholarship assistance available.
Job description:
Children’s Music Teacher
The teacher will develop and teach a preschool music program for children age 3-5 in conjunction with
the School of American Music. Class activities are based on dancing, singing, storytelling, art and
creative movement. Using musical instruments and other props such as hula hoops, shakers, ribbons,
and percussion. The teacher will handle up to 10 children in a relaxed, safe, controlled environment.
Pay:
Commensurate with experience.
Competitive with nationally recognized music programs.
Qualification: Teaching experience, musical skill, demonstrate necessary skills.
