Year 7 Science How can models be used in science? Project Aims: Modelling is used to explain how some science ideas work. Models can be 3D but can also be pictures. They are a visual aid to help understand science concepts that cannot be seen. Dates: You will start this project on 22/10/13 and will hand it in to your teacher on 9/11/13 These dates will vary depending on your teacher and when you have your lessons. Your task: Make a model (this can be 3D or a 2D diagram) of a science concept you are studying in class. You need to include a short piece of writing with your model that describes what your model is showing. Use key science words in your description. You will also need to give details about the size/ratio of your model compared to the real or actual size of what your model is showing.
