Students will learn prayers and responses for active participation in Masses By June, 2013, student achievement in literacy at St. Matthew will increase by 5%. All classes will demonstrate guided practice in Literacy. By June 2013, student performance at St. Matthew will increase by 5% on each EQAO assessment of numeracy. All classes will conduct 3‐ part lesson during numeracy block. By June, 2013 all students will be provided with appropriate transition and pathway options in Action Plans to Support SMART Goal(s) Implementation of Friendship Friday Activities during lunchtime that foster leadership, team‐ building and inclusivity skills. Establish School Teams A variety of prayers are taught in all classrooms and displayed for students to see so that during morning exercises, they are able to join in and commit to memory a variety of prayers. On‐going collection and analysis of data sources Descriptive feedback, anchor charts, rubrics, exemplars, common assessment language, Teacher moderation 3‐part lesson to be gradually implemented in all classrooms with frequency increasing from one to three times weekly, by the end of June, 2011. Student leaders take ownership and responsibility in teaching and guiding younger students through the activities. Students are involved in social justice projects and green initiatives. School teams allow opportunities for students to interact and demonstrate positive influence on student body. Students respond in the many parts of the Mass to show full and active participation during the celebrations. Focussed conversations during Divisional Meetings: gap analysis of resources and financial commitment to update Central Text Room LNS resources viewed and discussed‐ anchor charts, success criteria Implementation of 3‐part lesson started with key staff and spread with teachers modelling for colleagues. SAT, classroom teachers and volunteers re‐organized Math manipulatives. The Intermediate team, Secondary School team and Administrators continually reflect and modify to achieve student success in planning collaboration with parents to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
