ALL ARTWORK, FLYERS, ETC. MUST BE APPROVED BEFORE BEING PRINTED & DISTIBUTED TO
THE PUBLIC!! USAGE OF UNAPPROVED ARTWORK SHALL ENTITLE THE ARTIST TO CANCEL THE
ENGAGEMENT WITHOUT PREJUDICE TO THEIR RIGHT TO BE PAID IN FULL. All costs relating to
artwork are the responsibility of the Employer.
It is not permissible to use the Artist's name or likeness directly or indirectly with (but not
limited to) any sponsor, endorsee, record label, trade or commercial magazine, or third parties
in general without the written approval of the Artist's agent.
The Employer agrees to send out at least one of the Artist's own E-flyers to the Employer’s
entire social media database within the 60 day period prior to the gig - regardless of whether
the E-flyer is directly promoting the event or not. Content of E-Flyer at the sole discretion of
ARTIST.
PERFORMANCE / SUPPORT
Artist has 100% control of performance. When the Artist is performing no one else is allowed
on stage, DJ booth or at the side of stage without the expressed permission of the artist. It is
the responsibility of the Employer to ensure that no unnecessary persons are in the backstage
area at any time. Unless agreed in writing, Artist has final approval of support talent, no other
artists may be confirmed without approval of the Artist's Agent. No other group's equipment
may appear on stage during Artist's Sound Check or performance.
RECORDING / BROADCASTING
No permission is ever granted for recording or broadcasting of the Artist's engagement unless
specifically agreed to in writing and subject to a separate contract with the third party
concerned with such activity. "Recording or broadcasting" includes, but is not limited to,
Local or National Radio, Local or National TV, Terrestrial Radio, TV or satellite, ISDN, Internet,
Webcasting, Close Circuit TV, Desk to DAT or ANY other forms of taping or on "Handycam" or
other hand activated amateur or professional equipment. The Employer agrees and
understands that it is their responsibility to use their best endeavors to secure the venue for
the contracted engagement from any and all third party attempts to carry out any
unauthorized recording or broadcasting. Any illegal activity within the recording or
broadcasting parameters will be subject to legal action by the Artist's Representatives. Artist
and Artist's Representatives retain the right to seize any unauthorized film footage shot
without prior permission.
PRESS / PROMOTION
This contract does not entitle the Employer to any access to the Artist for the purpose of
promotion (i.e. printed or recorded interviews for the print media, TV, radio, Internet or such

MERCHANDISING
This contract does not entitle the Employer to any access to the Artist for the purpose of
merchandising or souvenirs or commercial exploitation of the Artists name or likeness.
COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS
Complimentary tickets, to be not less than THIRTY (30) shall be available in the Artist's name at
no cost to the Artist. It shall be at the Artist’s discretion how many of these ticket’s be granted
AAA (Access All Areas) VIP passes.
GROUND TRANSPORTATION
All ground transport is the responsibility of the Employer and MUST be in a late-model SUV or
spacious high-end vehicle with a courteous, English speaking driver to be available for ALL local
journeys between airport / hotel / venue / restaurant / sound check, etc. The traveling party
shall be typically 3-4 people plus luggage.
HOTELS
The Artist reserves the right to approve all hotel accommodations proposed by the Employer,
which must be of a 5 star standard and should be inclusive of room rate, tax, Internet and
breakfast. The Artist requires 1 suite and 1 standard room.
Late checkouts must be guaranteed in advance! All accommodations are to be prepaid by the
Employer prior to the engagement. Hotel must have free wifi for duration of stay.
The Artist is only responsible for incidentals (mini bar, phone, room service etc).
In the case of performances agreed on the basis of a “landed fee”:
flight reservations and payments will be handled by the Artist unless otherwise arranged and
agreed upon by AM Only, and the Employer when the performance date is verbally confirmed*.
In the case of performance fees agreed that exclude flight costs:
The Artist reserves the right to book all flights, which the Employer shall pay for. Funds are to
be transferred to AM Only within 5 working days of written instruction from AM Only, as to the
booking being made. Flights will be full fare, on scheduled airlines and early afternoon when
possible, always in business class.
Failure to pay for flight costs shall be considered a breach of contract and the Artist shall be
entitled to cancel the engagement without prejudice to their right to be paid in full.
NOTE: SUITE TO BE EQUIPPED WITH DJ SETUP CONSISTING OF THE
FOLLOWING AT NO CHARGE TO THE ARTIST:
1. TWO [2] PIONEER CDJ 2000s
2. ONE [1] PIONEER DJM 800/900 MIXER
3. ONE [1] AMP W/SPEAKERS & ALL NECESSARY CABLES ETC
HOTEL AND FLIGHT DETAILS
All hotel and flight details (where applicable) including addresses, phone/fax numbers, and
confirmation numbers shall be faxed or e-mailed to AM Only, immediately after such
accommodations are made. The Employer agrees to ensure all such information is transferred
in full at least 60 days before the Artist’s scheduled performance date.
AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE
The Employer, or his appointed authorized representative, shall be on hand from designated
Artist arrival time, to deal with any contingency arising in connection with production of the
performance. Such person shall fax or e-mail AM ONLY their contact numbers for show day not
more than 10 days after confirmation of the performance date.
VOLUME LEVELS
There must NOT be any restriction of the sound volume during either Sound Check or
performance. Any legal obligations to the Employer or venue concerning the sound
volume/level for any reason must be submitted in writing to the Artist's Agent immediately
with details. Should the Artist arrive at the venue to find there is an unacceptable sound level
limit in operation without prior written explanation, the Artist shall then reserve the right to
terminate the Contract without prejudice to their right to payment in full.
NOTE: At festivals it is essential that the FOH Volume for the DJ is in no way quieter than ANY
preceding or following live bands. Also absolutely no line checks on stage for any following live
act should interfere with the DJ performance.
HOUSE ENGINEER
A fully qualified Sound Technician with full working knowledge of the venue's sound equipment
and electrical supplies must be present at the venue from the time of the stage call until
completion of the performance. This person will be responsible for the connection of the
Artist's equipment to the electrical supply and/or any other technical matters as may arise.
PRODUCTION OFFICE (where applicable)
Employer shall provide a large clean room for use as a production office from load-in time until
end of load-out. The room should ideally be on the same level as the stage and contain the
following:
2 x large tables,
hi-speed internet access (wired or wireless)
6 x chairs,
1 x large waste bin
bright lighting.
VENUE SECURITY
It is the Employer's full responsibility to provide adequate security for the event in all positions,
specifically at the trucks/buses, dressing rooms, back Stage, front of house mixer position, if any
all exits and entrances, pit (between barrier and stage) etc. A security staff member should also
be available next to the dj booth or stage for the duration of the Artist’s performance.
Note: It is also the Employer's sole responsibility to purchase full third party liability
insurance of at least £2,000,000 holding the Artist & their crew & representatives harmless in
the event of a third party lawsuit. A certificate of insurance must be available for inspection
by the Artist representative prior to engagement.
Theft and damage insurance for the Artist's personal effects & equipment is also
recommended. In any event, employer will be liable for the replacement value of any items
carried by the Artist, which are lost or stolen at the venue.
Should any documents (passports, carnets etc.) be stolen from venue, employer will also be
liable for any fees that may be lost or costs incurred because of such theft.
BARRIER (where applicable)
Employer must provide a solid, stable crash barrier for use at front of stage. The barrier must
have been tested and approved for use in these circumstances. It should be positioned a
minimum of 8' from the d.s. edge and should run the full width of the stage. Competent,
experienced personnel should install it in the afternoon prior to Sound Check. It must have at
least two sections of acoustically transparent material for use in front of the PA.
DRESSING ROOM
Employer agrees to provide the following:
1. Paul Oakenfold - One [1] Large, lockable, comfortable and private dressing room with toilet,
adequate for use by 10 persons to be available from load-in until load-out on day of show. This
room is for the sole use of Paul Oakenfold and will not be shared with other Artists under any
circumstances. The room shall be clean, dry, well lit with adequate heating or air-conditioning
dependent on the prevailing weather conditions.
Dressing Room must have the following:
• Premium comfortable seating, e.g. sofas, chairs, etc., for a minimum of ten persons. • One [1]
full-length clothes rail.
• The room must have adequate lighting
Note: Dressing room must have en-suite toilet facilities, which should be cleaned prior to the
Artist's arrival. In the event en-suite facilities are not available, please allocate best dressing
room nearest to toilet facilities.
Please communicate options with Artist's Tour Manager during the advance. Employer shall be
solely responsible for security of items in the dressing room area and crew room and shall keep
all unauthorized persons from entering the said area by providing one security guard to be in
place outside entrance(s) from the time of the Artist's arrival. In the event of loss or theft of
Artist's belongings from the dressing room area or venue, Employer accepts full liability for
replacement value of said items plus rental costs of any and all stolen equipment until replaced.
Upon arrival at the venue for Sound Check the Tour Manager shall be given a key to the
dressing room.
PERSONAL SECURITY
A professional licensed security person must be available to escort and protect the Artist and
his personal belongs and will be posted at the entrance of the dressing room as well to restrict
access to any unauthorized visitor or personnel unless clear first by the Artist or Tour manager.
In the case of a club, the same security rules must be applied to the Stage and/or DJ Booth. This
security person must be available from the time Artist arrives to the venue and during the
duration of his entire stay.

CDJ / CDJ / MIXER /CDJ/ DVJ/VIDEO MONITOR
AUDIO MONITORING SYSTEM
Artist requires two [2] stereo side-fills to be placed on rear stage wings one on either side of DJ
platform with top at 6’ above stage.
Stereo Side fills should be 4 Way, All Actively Crossed over (Sub & 3 Way top) (e.g. FunktionOne, Meyer Sound, EAW or D&B, ALL WITH PROPER SUBS.).
Monitor wedges placed on the floor /beside.
Monitors system is fed from XLR Outputs from DJ Booth and must allow monitor volume to be
controllable from DJ mixer. This is a must! - Absolutely No Exceptions!
Monitor system to have 31 equalization bands at 1/3 octave intervals from 20Hz to 20kHz. and
crossover per side fill.(E.g. BSS, OmniDrive Cross over & VariCurve EQ unit, TC Electronics, Klark
Technics) Monitors to be set to our requirements in terms of volume and EQ and must be
adjustable if required at Sound Check.
Monitor engineer to be provided by promoter for Sound Check and performance.
PA SPECIFICATIONS
Artist requires a high quality professional stereo PA system, capable of producing an SPL of 145
dB peak SPL at 1 meter in the range of 20Hz to 20Khz, undistorted signal at FOH mix position /
center/ rear of venue. 2 stacks and 10,000 Watts Per every 100 people. PA must be stacked in
QUADROPHONIC format. This requires two front stacks on either side of the stage and two back
stacks at the rear of the venue for Club Setup, unless specify in a different way by the
Production Manager. Stacks should be 4 Way All Actively Crossed over. 2-inch diameter horns
are a must. Must have 2 Stacks of 4 Way front infill at front of stage angled in so front row,
usually the most die-hard fans, get decent sound. Please note that a lot of bass & sub bass are
generated during Artist’s set; please ensure that there is ample power provided in bass and sub
bass frequencies of the PA system. Preferred PA System: Quad Stacks of 4 Way Active
Turbosound Flood/Flash or Funktion-One Resolution System, with BSS OmniDrive Crossovers
and BSS VariCurve EQs, Vdosc Line Array with enough power, Crest Amplification is our base
system.
STAGING / RISER REQUIREMENTS (where applicable)
1. 40' Wide x 24' Deep stage 3' Height - Stage must be of solid construction and free from all
vibration and sway. The stage should be set up as follows; a 40' X 12' front section for all other
artists to perform on, with two 16' Wide X 12' Deep rear wings all at 3' height. White edge tape
should be placed on back and side edges and front edge to be marked with white or blue Rope
Light.
2. This should be curtained off by velour stage curtains on a traveler track 13' from back of
stage and opened as a reveal when Paul comes on. Also Black Pipe and Drape to mask Ramp
and Steps.
3. A separate, centered, raised DJ Platform 8' Wide X 8' Deep @ 4' High for the DJ to stand on
and another separate DJ Booth Riser of 8' Wide x 4' Deep @ 4' High that the DJ Booth sits on.
DJ Booth Riser should be directly in front of the riser that the DJ stands on, but entirely
separate and not connected together. The gap between the two risers should be approximately
2".
This riser should be cross-braced and weighted with sandbags / concrete, etc., as required, to
be completely stable and free from vibration. This is essential on wooden stages to avoid
records skipping when Paul jumps up and down.
4. The Risers must be draped in black all around. White Edge Tape MUST be in place on all
Risers.
5. There must be a 6' table/flight case behind DJ for CD boxes, drinks, at the back of the 8' x 8'
riser DJ stands on, plus blue gelled desk lamp, a small 24" box fan and a clean cooler filled with
clean ice, cups and bottled water, soda and juice from as per hospitality rider.
6. Access to stage via ramps and steps on stage left and right.
7. Stage must be protected by a sturdy barricade
A/V SPECIFICATIONS
Artist has specially commissioned customized visuals as the centerpiece to his stage production.
The visuals must be played from the start and for the durations of the Artist’s performance and
must be stopped at the exact moment the Artist’s performance has finished.
Promoter to provide:
•
3 x Video Screens (9 x12 or larger) OR LED Wall (a must for daylight performances)
•
3 x Video Projectors (Min 4000 Lumens), with all cabling provided for feeding output of
DVJ 1000 in booth to projectors. Screens are to be positioned as follows: 1 Screen Behind the DJ
position in center of stage. The other two screens to be positioned at the right & left sides of
the stage.
HOSPITALITY / CATERING HOT BREAKFAST & LUNCH: (where applicable)
DINNER:
In addition to Venue Catering, the Artist & crew require a quality 3 course evening meal
consisting of Starter, Entrée, and Dessert including drinks, at a mutually agreed local restaurant.
Fast Food is NOT an alternative.
Alternatively in lieu of said Dinner, a Buy-Out of £60.00 GBP / $100 USD per person must be
given to the Tour Manager upon arrival @ the Venue.

3 Quarts of Freshly squeezed Orange Juice, NOT from concentrate
One [1] Quart of 'Ocean Spray' Cranberry Juice
One [1] Quart of fresh Pineapple, Apple Juice, and Grapefruit juice
Twenty Six [26] Cans of assorted Soft drinks including Tonic Water, Coke, Diet Coke, 7 Up
One [1] Premium Coffee & Tea service complete with all varied sugars, sweeteners, milk &
cream. Please provide ceramic mugs in place of paper or Styrofoam cups. One [1] Assortment
of freshly cut Premium Sandwiches, Smoked Salmon, Tuna w/Mayonnaise, Turkey, assorted deli
meats etc. & salad filling)
2 New, good quality, soft terry cloth white hand towels
2 x Sharpie Markers; Black & Blue
1 garbage can in dressing room
1 roll paper towels
1 pack of assorted sugar-free mints
Note: All of the above to be supplied upon arrival in the dressing room or on the Tour Bus (when
applicable), and all drinks are to be iced, with glasses available, a bottle opener, condiments, plates,
cups, cutlery, napkins, ashtrays and Waste-Bins to be supplied, etc.
STAGE / DJ BOOTH (Available 1⁄2 hour prior to set time)

NOTE: The Artist's Tour Manager will contact Employer's representative for a thorough advance
of all information and specifications contained in this rider. Any & all changes, substitutions
etc., must be submitted in writing to Artist's Agent at least 14 days prior to engagement.
ARBITRATION OF DISPUTES
This Contract and complete Rider represent a verbal contract already made in the London,
England. This Agreement shall be construed and governed in all respects in accordance with the
laws of England and the courts of England shall be the courts of jurisdiction. In the event of any
conflict of terms, Employer specifically accepts the terms contained in this Contract and Rider
unless the Artist waives them in writing.
