For approximately 3-4 hours per week, Student Engagement Advocates will help Cengage Learning build brand awareness and drive student usage by educating students and professors at their school on new and exciting Cengage Learning technology products. Student Engagement Advocates will also get the opportunity to sharpen their business and presentation skills and get paid for doing it. Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Conduct peer to peer MindTap product demonstrations and capture student feedback on MindTap via post-demo surveys. Conduct small group presentations to relevant student organizations and clubs including Greek Life, residential life, etc. Distribute Cengage Learning marketing collateral in relevant high traffic areas to help build Cengage Learning brand awareness. Direct messaging to students including internal campus electronic mailing lists and listservs; relevant student organizations and Greek organization databases. Drive student ‘conversation’ on social networks by utilizing all relevant social networking outlets to promote MindTap and to build Cengage Learning brand awareness among students – such as relevant MindTap product information, photos and contest information. Promote relevant existing Cengage Learning promotions or contests for student participation. Work with local Cengage Learning sales representatives as needed in conducting MindTap product presentations with faculty on campus and in conducting student focus groups. Help with ‘Getting Started’ sessions at the beginning of the semester when available and as needed. Student Engagement Advocates might be asked if they are available to visit a class with one of our sales reps to talk to students about logging into MindTap (in some cases, another software application might apply). Engage with any students who have recently used or are currently using MindTap to learn more about their experience. Conduct student surveys and related projects for other Cengage Learning product lines such as 4LTR Press. Submit weekly status updates including any new photos or videos. Participate in program and product training. Participate in weekly Student Engagement Advocate team meetings.
