applies to the shipowner (the entity ordering the building), ref. The Ship Safety and Security Act, section 5.
Notification of newbuilding is to be submitted in 3 copies to the Norwegian Maritime Directorate head office.
This form applies also to foreign new vessels applying for a Letter of Compliance (LOC) to be issued by the NMD.
