Daily Work 9 – Understanding Randomness Get into groups as instructed. Name and section # for each group member (Print) 1. If you roll a die 2. In-class demonstration a. Dustin will turn his back to the class. b. Your TAs will give approximately half the groups in the room a die. If you are a group with a die you are to roll it 100 times and record the sequence of odds and evens in the table given to you. c. If you are a group without a die, then you are to make up what you think would be a convincing random sequence of odd and even outcomes. Enter this sequence in the table given to you. d. Return dice and tables to front of the room (to TAs). DO NOT identify on the table paper anywhere if your group actually rolled the die or made up the sequence. Was Kobe Streaking?
