Overlooking the Golden Horn stands the mare of buildings that was the great palace of the
Ottoman Sultans – Topkapi Palace from the 15th to the 19th Century.

Blue Mosque
Dubbed the "Blue Mosque" by Europeans because of its beautiful interior tiles with flower and

Church of St Saviour in Chora
A legendary Byzantine Church decorated with extraordinary late 14 th century frescoes and
mosaics portraying the life and miracles of Christ.
Underground Basilica Cistern
The grandest and most impressive one of its kind in Istanbul. It was built in 6th century and water
was brought to this big reservoir from distant sources through aqua ducts. There are 336
columns and cistern is 70m/230ft wide; 140m/1460ft long.

Dolmabahce Palace (Incl. Harem section)
It is built in 1856, was the first European style palace in Istanbul and is a supreme example of
lavish baroque decoration. Its’ walls and furniture are covered with fourteen tons of gold gilding.
Highlights will include the famous staircase with crystal balustrades and the world’s largest
Bohemian crystal chandelier that weighs in at a remarkable four and a half tons.

Bosphorus Cruise by a private boat
The Bosphorus is a narrow, navigable 33 km strait between Europe and Asia connecting the
