Compliance, monitoring and reporting The Managing Director is accountable for ensuring that SIAL has systems of controls which provide assurance of effective and efficient operations and legal compliance, including safety, health, environment and employment. The Leadership Governance Group (LGG) is responsible for ensuring that SIAL has appropriate safety, health, environment and employment policies, standards and assurance arrangements for monitoring these issues within the business. This includes the provision of all financial, technical and human resources to ensure compliance within this policy. CSR will be formally reviewed monthly at the LGG. Managers at all levels are responsible for those under their control and third parties operating in their areas who may have an impact on the environment. Managers must allocate sufficient resources to discharge this responsibility, including competent staff, information and training for themselves and all employees. All employees have a responsibility for ensuring that their own actions or inactions do not put themselves, other people or the environment at risk. They must fully co-operate with their managers in this respect, maintain their place of work and equipment in a tidy and safe condition, and must not misuse anything provided in the interest of health, safety and protecting the environment. We will identify and comply with all applicable legislative and industry requirements as the minimum acceptable standard. We will also operate an airport that is safe and secure for all. The principles of our Managing Responsibly System (MRS) will be used for managing CSR activities. Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) will be agreed on an annual basis and reviewed at appropriate forums. CSR KPIs and results will be published on the Southampton Airport website and will be discussed at the Consultative Committee on a regular basis. Dave Lees Managing Director September 2015
