Biography James Robison James Robison is the founder of LIFE Outreach International and host of the daily television program “LIFE Today.” LIFE demonstrates the love of Christ around the world through television ministry, evangelistic outreaches and humanitarian efforts. For more than 50 years, Robison has spent considerable time with the poor, overlooked and downtrodden by preaching the Gospel in over 600 citywide evangelistic crusades attended by more than 20 million people; feeding people in crisis situations; drilling water wells; establishing orphanages and schools; building homes for the homeless; and rescuing children from sex trafficking. Through weekly online commentaries (www.jamesrobison.net), Robison addresses national and world issues. “America has been drifting away from the faith and principles of our founders,” he says, “and the church has failed to effectively pierce the darkness with the illuminating light of love and truth.” Additionally, Robison and his team have developed an online news and commentary website called The Stream (stream.org), a national daily designed for Evangelicals, faith-filled Catholics, Orthodox Christians and Jews. Launching this month as a champion of freedom and human dignity, The Stream will break down the false divides between the sacred and profane, between faith and reason. It will challenge the mainstream media while offering a rich and lively source for breaking news, inspiration and analysis. In addition, it will emphasize the fact that freedom divorced from virtue cannot long endure and will inspire and lead Christians to find the common ground to effectively address their common concerns.
