moved to Monmouth County, New Jersey.1

There is no middle name or initial on death notice, last will, articles about him, or on his tombstone.5
Served as Lawrence County Sheriff and two terms as a Commissioner. He came to Quaker Bottom in March 1814
and built a three story brick home in Proctorville, owned property in Rome, Union and Windsor Townships. He
helped build the first school in Proctorville as well as the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1871. Charles was known
to be “the wealthiest citizen for miles around” and called his end of the village Grant Town in honor of General U.S.
Grant.

MSW with a Drug Dependency Concentration from the University of Denver in 1992 and currently holds a Licensed
Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor at Level III (CAC III) license in
the State of Colorado.
Dr. Moore continues as Part Time Faculty at the University of Colorado at Denver, Graduate School of Public
Affairs and has served as Research Assistant and Co-Author on several publications and presentations. Ms. Moore
