Application for Advance Graduation Advance graduation applications are considered on an individual basis and are at the discretion of the Faculty Manager. They are usually accepted from International students returning home, students leaving the country to take up a scholarship overseas (supporting documentation should be provided), PhD and Master’s students, Māori students who have declared themselves as such on the student records system who wish to attend the Toihuarewa Faculty graduation, students facing exceptional circumstances, or students planning to complete their qualification over the summer trimester. 1. If your application is approved, you will be sent an email with instructions to apply online via Student Records. The deadlines for application for advance graduation are 1 February for May ceremonies and 1 September for December ceremonies. Late return will jeopardise your eligibility to graduate. Please note that your application for advance graduation is conditional on grades being available and degree requirements being met. These conditions will be explained in a follow-up email.
