Graduation Information
1. Ceremony at QVCC
Graduation is at 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 31, 2012 in the amphitheater. Your guests
are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. At 4:00 pm light snacks will be available in the
cafeteria, and you will have a chance to mingle with staff and faculty. By 5:00 pm you should
be in your assigned classroom based on your highest degree and last name with Associate in
Arts taking precedence over Associate in Science.

2. Rain Ceremony at Killingly High School, 226 Putnam Pike, Dayville, CT 06241
In the event of inclement weather, graduation will be moved to Killingly High School.
This information will be noted on QVCC’s website the day of graduation. Graduation will still
be at 6:00 pm. You should be at Killingly High School by 5:00 pm and you should report to the
gym. As the event will have a limited amount of seats- you will be given three tickets when
you pick up your caps/gowns. YOU ARE LIMITED TO THREE GUEST TICKETS AT KILLINGLY.
YOUR GUESTS MUST HAVE A TICKET or they will be denied admittance.
3. Diplomas
Diplomas will be mailed three weeks after the graduation to your address of record.
You should check your my.commnet.edu account to make sure that the college has your
correct address. If you need to change your address you can complete a change of status
form at the information desk.
