1.7 Will customers who do not opt in have the opportunity to move to Infrastructure Design Suite in the future?
Yes, AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD Map 3D customers will have the ability to upgrade to Infrastructure Design Suite
Standard, Premium, or Ultimate at any time as part of the standard upgrade programs.
1.8 How does the $0 upgrade affect customers in multi-year Subscription contracts for AutoCAD Civil 3D or AutoCAD Map
3D?
This migration plan will not change current Subscription agreements in place for AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD Map
3D, even if they are multi-year agreements.
1.9 Can a customer partially opt in? For example, if a customer has 10 seats and they want to only upgrade 5 of the 10, is
that an option available to them with the change in the program?
Customers with English language product can denote how many seats they would like to opt out via the appropriate opt

program supported our decision to make changes to the Infrastructure Design Suite program to provide customers with
the choice to opt in or opt out. It should be noted that the Building Design Suite upgrade program for AutoCAD Revit
Suite customers was designed to help customers transition to a new offering after AutoCAD Revit Suites were
discontinued.

Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite provides an expanded toolset and industry-specific suites workflows not possible
with individual products alone. AutoCAD Civil 3D users can benefit from additional tools for creating preliminary design
proposals, creating cinematic-quality visuals and animations from civil data, raster editing and raster-to-vector
conversion, and model integration for project review and construction sequencing. AutoCAD Map 3D users can benefit
from additional tools for raster editing and raster-to-vector conversion, and model integration for project review.
Autodesk customers with Subscriptions to Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite can also access a variety of Autodesk
360 cloud-based services, such as rendering, storage, viewing, and sharing.
In addition, Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite uses a single process to install all of the products in the suite,
streamlining deployment. You can customize the installation process to install either all or a selection of the products in
the suite. Firms that hold licenses for both AutoCAD Civil 3D and AutoCAD Map 3D may find it easier to deploy and
manage Infrastructure Design Suite rather than individual software applications.
