Transforming Autodesk® Inventor® Models to Intelligent Models in Autodesk® Revit® Adam Smith – Autodesk MA2895 In this class, you will learn how to prepare an Autodesk Inventor software model to be used as an intelligent model in Autodesk Revit software for Building Information Modeling (BIM). We will focus on simplifying the Inventor model, removing intellectual property, adding necessary connectors and metadata, and finally, importing the model into Revit. This class will serve as a sneak peek at new functionality. For this reason, we will be asking attendees to sign nondisclosure agreements at the start of this course. Due to the confidential nature of this course, we are unable to distribute handouts with the course content. Learning Objectives At the end of this class, you will be able to: Understand a variety of applications that call for use of simplified Inventor models Use appropriate tools to reduce complexity and remove intellectual property from an Inventor model Add connectors and metadata Export Inventor data into a Revit intelligent model About the Speaker Adam Smith is a Product Manager for Autodesk Inventor and lives in Portland, Oregon.
