AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES OCTOBER TO DECEMBER 2015
Dear Parents/Guardians,
We are delighted to announce our After School Activities Term 1 program is starting on Wednesday 14 th
October 2015. This term will run from October to December for 8 weeks, every Wednesday and Thursday from 15h15.
You will get a full instructional note home later on this week – ahead of the event opening up online.
Please keep an eye out for this note in school bags, alternatively all notes are posted on the school website. This note will advise when the online booking will be open from and when the online booking will end. These are the dates for when the ASA’s will run this term:

The activities will run from 3.15 pm in classrooms and the hall. Please note that all classes are subject to minimum numbers signing up. If we do not receive minimum numbers, the ASA will not proceed.
Important: Supervision
As always with ASA’s you will be required to supervise one week per club that your child will be attending.
So if your child is only attending one club, you will only need to supervise once. If your child is attending multiple clubs, you will be required to supervise once for each of the clubs. At the end of the online registration process you will have to select a preferred week for supervision, if your preferred week has already been taken you will have to select the last option which will put you down for a reserve supervisor.

The administration of the supervision is very time consuming. Unfortunately in the past some supervisors did not turn up/did not advise the supervision volunteer. Without supervision we cannot run these ASA’s. If you are not able to supervise at your alloted slot – it will be your responsibility to contact the supervision volunteer in order to try and arrange for another parent to cover your supervision. The reason behind the supervision is to ensure that all of our children are safe, accounted for and in the safe hands of either the supervisor/teacher until collection by parents/guardians at 4.15pm. We are very lucky to have the opportunity to run these ASA’s and we really need your help to keep them running. Thank you in advance for all of your help.
