April 18, 2013 - Manning Park, British Columbia - Kevin and Donna Demers are excited to announce their company, Sunshine Valley RV Resorts & Cabins Inc., have purchased the assets of Gibson Pass Resort Inc., the former operator of Manning Park Resort situated in EC Manning Provincial Park. The purchase includes the
Park Use Permit for the Resort and ski operations, as well as the remainder of the Park Facility Operator (PFO)
Manning / Similkameen campground bundle contract. The resorts and facility will operate as Manning Park
Resort.
Manning Park Resort, which has been operating for the past three years in receivership, is located 210km east of
Vancouver in one of BC's premier Provincial Parks. It is truly a 4 season destination and resort with its winter
Alpine and Nordic ski areas and its summer hiking, biking and campgrounds. With a variety of accommodation and related amenities it has been a favourite for individuals and groups.

Leading the team will be General Manager, Mike Barker, who has a 28 year history of being involved with
Manning Park and the Resort.
Kevin Demers and his family have over 35 years experience developing and operating 7 RV Resorts:. in BC,
(includes Bridal Falls Camperland and Sunshine Valley RV Resorts& Cabins) Alberta and Washington State operating under the banner of Holiday Trails Resorts as well as owning and operating Bridal Falls Water Park
The court appointed sale was approved today with a possession date of April 25, 2013 and Kevin Demers anticipates reopening the resort in the near future.

Manning Park Resort is located in EC Manning Provincial Park, one of the provinces premier provincial park located on Highway 3 in the heart of the Cascade Mountains.

Kevin acknowledges that EC Manning Provincial Park is a major attraction and will ensure any development will be achieved with careful consideration to our Provincial Park Environment.

The PFO (Park Facility Operator) aspect is a separate Permit to operate the Provincial Park /
Campsites. Most Parks in BC are operated as a PFO.

The majority of the PFO Permits in the province, including Manning are up for renewal and RFP
(Request For Proposals) will be coming out shortly.

The PFO agreement is not tied into the purchase of the assets of the resort.

It is Kevin’s intention to pursue securing the new PFO contract for Manning Park.

With the geography and climate making this a truly 4 season recreation area, Manning Park is only an easy 2 1/2 hour drive from Vancouver the Okanagan and the US Market.

