Las Vegas, USA (5th January, 2016) — ASUS today showcases its latest line-up of gaming
motherboards, displays, desktops, laptops, and peripherals at the 2016 International CES®. Making their
debut at CES are three brand-new gaming motherboards with Aura RGB lighting for more flexible color
and customization options — ROG Maximus VIII Formula, ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura, and B150I Pro
Gaming/Wi-Fi/Aura. ROG Maximus VIII Formula is a Z170 Express chipset-based ATX gaming
motherboard with exclusive CrossChill EK cooling. ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura is the world’s first AMD®
970+SB950 chipset-based ATX gaming motherboard with official NVIDIA® SLI™ certification. ASUS B150I
Pro Gaming/Wi-Fi/Aura is an Intel-based mini-ITX motherboard that features advanced Aura lighting with
ASUS exclusive gaming-grade audio and networking.
Also displayed for the first time are the MG 4K Series gaming monitors, the ROG GT51 gaming desktop,
and the ROG XG Station 2. The 28- and 24-inch MG 4K gaming monitors feature 4K UHD 3840 x 2160
resolution visuals, a rapid 1ms response time to eliminate motion blur (MG28UQ), an IPS panel to deliver
vibrant colors (MG24UQ), and VESA Adaptive-Sync support for smooth gameplay. ROG GT51 is
powered by the 6th-generation Intel® Core™ i7-6700K processor and NVIDIA GeForce® GTX™ TITAN X
(2-way SLI) for 4K-resolution gaming on three displays. ROG XG2 external graphics docking station has
a proprietary circuit design that lets notebooks harness the power of desktop graphics cards for a
significant boost in visual performance, and it is compatible with ASUS GeForce and Radeon graphics
cards.
Other products on display in the ASUS Media Lounge are the ROG Swift PG348Q display, ROG G752
and GX700 gaming laptops, ROG Claymore mechanical gaming keyboard, and the soon-to-be-released
ROG Spatha wireless/wired gaming mouse.

ROG Maximus VIII Formula motherboard
ROG Maximus VIII Formula is a Z170 Express chipset-based ATX gaming motherboard with an
innovative cooling design that features the exclusive CrossChill EK. ROG teamed up with EK Water
Blocks to develop this extreme-performance cooling block that has a high-conductivity copper channel for
very quiet and cool air or liquid-cooled custom builds. During internal product tests with a liquid cooling
system, CrossChill EK reduced MOSFET temperatures by up to 23°C.
Maximus VIII Formula features the all-new Aura LED illumination and laser-engraved durable ROG Armor.
The customizable Aura LED effects and built-in RGB-header let users create PC builds with their own feel
via the external LED strips and preset breathing, color-strobe, or color-cycling modes. They even have
the option of using colors to indicate CPU temperature or pulsate in time to the beat of their favorite music.
Maximus VIII Formula has the very latest Intel® Gigabit Ethernet, along with LANGuard to optimize
network traffic for faster, lag-free online gaming. 5-Way Optimization lets users maximize CPU
performance for gaming, entertainment, or productivity with a single click. SupremeFX 2015 brings
together the best gaming-audio inputs and outputs, special shielded designs, and a collection of
professional-grade hardware to ensure crystal-clear in-game audio.
ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura motherboard
The AMD® 970+SB950 chipset-based ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura motherboard is the world’s first AMD
970 motherboard that has been officially certified by NVIDIA to offer SLI support, and features Aura RGB
LEDs for users to create a customizable look and feel for their PC build. It features gaming-grade
SupremeFX and Sonic Radar II audio, as well as Intel Gigabit Ethernet with ASUS LANGuard and
GameFirst technologies for fast, safe, and lag-free networking. ASUS 970 Pro Gaming/Aura also features
a dedicated onboard water-pump header, and is future-proof with NVM Express (NVMe) M.2 and two
USB 3.1 ports.
ASUS B150I Pro Gaming/Wi-Fi/Aura motherboard
ASUS B150I Pro Gaming/Wi-Fi/Aura is a mini ITX motherboard that features advanced Aura LED
illumination for more customizable lighting effects. With five additional controllers and special firmware,

ASUS B150I Pro Gaming/Wi-Fi-/Aura lets gamers customize the frequency and direction of the lighting
effects via the Aura utility. This allows more advanced lighting options in addition to the existing standard
static, breathing, strobing, color-cycle, music, and CPU temperature effects.
ASUS B150I Pro Gaming/Wi-Fi/Aura also has several exclusive technologies for superior gaming
experiences, including SupremeFX and Sonic Radar II audio, along with Intel Gigabit Ethernet with ASUS
LANGuard and GameFirst technologies for fast, safe, and lag-free networking.
A built-in M.2 socket provides access to the latest high-speed solid-state drives (SSDs). Multi-user MIMO
and 802.11ac Wi-Fi with an external 2x2 dual-band 2.5/5GHz antenna give gamers the fastest wireless
connections for online gaming. In addition, a dedicated onboard water-pump header ensures the very
best water-cooling efficiency.
ASUS MG 4K Series monitors
The much-lauded ASUS MG Series now features a 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution panel in both its 28and 24-inch models. The 28-inch MG28UQ has a rapid 1ms response time to eliminate ghosting and
motion blur, while the 24-inch MG24UQ has an IPS panel with wide viewing angles and outstanding color
accuracy for vibrant colors. MG Series features VESA Adaptive-Sync support for seamlessly-smooth
gameplay with no tearing to give gamers the upper hand when playing the latest gaming titles. Both
monitors feature ASUS GamePlus in-game enhancements, ASUS GameVisual technology for optimized
gaming visuals, and ASUS Ultra-Low Blue Light filter technology for comfortable viewing.
ROG GT51 gaming desktop
ROG GT51, winner of a 2016 CES Innovation Award in the Gaming and Virtual Reality category, is
powered by a 6th-generation Intel Core i7-6700K processor and supports up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX
TITAN X (2-way SLI) for the performance to run games across three 4K monitors. ROG Turbo Gear lets
users maximize GT51’s full overclocking potential with just one click, while the ASUS-exclusive Aegis II
application helps monitor system parameters. In addition, a USB 3.1 Type-C port on its front panel
provides data transmission speeds of up to 10Gbps and is able to quick-charge mobile devices. GT51
features the exclusive ROG Band to let users activate Shadow Drive — a hidden hard drive space — or
overclock GT51 as well.
GT51 has an internal cooling system with a dedicated air tunnel that takes advantage of natural
convection to ensure efficient heat management during marathon gaming sessions. It has an
aggressively designed ATX chassis with an Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper finish, a transparent side
window, and customizable lighting effects that showcase up to 8 million colors.

ROG XG2 external graphics docking station
ROG XG2 is an external graphics card docking station specially designed for ASUS laptops and is
compatible with ASUS GeForce and Radeon graphics cards. It has a proprietary circuit design that lets
notebooks harness the power of desktop graphics cards for a significant boost in visual performance..
This docking station also helps charge the laptop, so users can do away with the latter’s power adapter.
It’s easy to hook up as well, and can be unplugged without restarting the laptop.
ROG Claymore mechanical gaming keyboard
ROG Claymore is a gaming keyboard with Cherry MX RGB mechanical switches (Red, Blue, Brown, and
Black options) and a detachable numeric keypad with macro functions to give users flexible placement
options. This backlit keyboard features customizable keys with RGB lighting and N-key Rollover
technology. It can be synced to ROG motherboards, with hotkeys allowing users to control fan speed,
boot up, CPU and memory overclocking, and BIOS access. ROG Claymore has a durable aluminum-alloy
frame with Mayan-inspired detailing for a premium look.
ROG Spatha wireless/wired gaming mouse
The soon-to-be-released ROG Spatha is a 8200 DPI laser gaming mouse crafted for MMO glory. It has a
magnesium-alloy chassis and features a total of 12 programmable buttons, including six ergonomic
thumb buttons. Its left and right buttons feature an easy-upgrade switch socket design for customizable
click feel, with Omron® switches giving users a 20-million-click lifespan. Users have the freedom to use it
in wired or wireless modes, and can enjoy a polling rate of up to 2000Hz when in wired mode. In addition,
it has customizable RGB LED effects across three zones.
ROG Swift PG348Q gaming monitor
ROG Swift PG348Q is a 34-inch gaming monitor with an Ultra-Wide Quad HD (UWQHD) (3440 x 1440)
panel that gives users highly detailed visuals and more onscreen space than WQHD monitors. Its ultrawide 21:9 aspect curved display provides an immersive panoramic gaming experience. Swift PG348Q’s
fast 100Hz refresh rate and built-in NVIDIA G-SYNC technology help eliminate lag and frame-rate stutter
for the smoothest, fastest, and most breathtaking gaming imaginable. Its frameless design makes it
perfect for a multi-display surround setup.
In addition, Swift PG348Q features ASUS GamePlus in-game enhancements, ASUS GameVisual
technology for optimized gaming visuals, and an exclusive Turbo hotkey so users can toggle refresh rates
on the fly without needing to access the graphics driver control panel.

ROG G752 gaming laptop
ROG G752 is a powerful gaming laptop powered by a 6th-generation Intel Core i7 (‘Skylake’) processor
and up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M discrete graphics. G752 has an aggressive design and sports the
new ROG Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper color scheme. It features the ROG-exclusive mobile 3D
