Middle Ages Castle Project Dear fourth grade families, As you probably already know, we are well underway in our second social studies unit of the year: The Middle Ages. In an effort to expand your child’s knowledge of Medieval Times, he/she is going to construct a model of a Medieval Castle. Possible materials can include, but are not limited to: Heavy cardboard Markers Styrofoam Cardboard tubes String Popsicle sticks Toothpicks Tape Paint Glue Construction paper Students, on the back of this page you will find the specific components needed for your castle, along with a rubric for how the project will be graded. There is a lot of creativity and freedom beyond the requirements. You may want to add windows, steps, scenery, and Medieval characters to your wonderful creation.
