Be sure to get all of the 5WH and also some quotes from important people like Theseus Form a group of 4 and create a modern paraphrased adaptation of one of the scenes from the play. Each person should speak the equivalent of about 20 lines. OR Independently, rewrite one of the soliloquies from the play into modern language. Perform it in the form of a monologue in front of the class. (Helena in I, I; Puck II, I or V, i; Choose one character and create a character sketch for him/her (much like the character sketches we did during ITHOTN). You must include as many physical attributes and personality traits as you can, along with quotes and written discussions to support your visual character sketch. Imagine that you are a TV news reporter in Athens. Choose one major event in the play on which to report (i.e. Titania reuses to hand over young price; 2 young men now in love with Helena; Titania in love with an ass; group wedding takes place). You cannot report on the young lovers running away. **this may be done in groups of 2-4 Oberon and Titania do not always agree, especially about the topic of what to do with the young Indian prince. Imagine that these two decide to appear on a TV show such as Dr. Phil to work out their problems. What would they say to one another? What would the ancient Greek Dr. Phil advise?
