Daily Oral Language/Vocabulary Development
Directions:




Up to three times a week, you will receive six sentences with grammar, usage, mechanic and/or spelling errors.
First, you will need to copy each sentence down incorrectly, and then use proofreading marks to aid in making corrections. Once the corrections are
made, you will then list the corrections with the help of the teacher.
Second, you will develop your Latin/Greek roots and affixes by defining the root or affix and then supplying a derivative. A small follow-up activity will
accompany each word part either in class or for homework.
Lastly, you will be quizzed each Friday on the vocabulary word parts and the daily oral language.
