PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION 2015
GRAND CANAL OFFALY FLOATING FESTIVAL
IWAI Offaly - Inland Waterways Association of Ireland
in association with Slieve Bloom Photography Club
the 2015 grand canal Offaly floating festival will take place in
Tullamore from Friday 18th September to Sunday 27th September inclusive.
it is being held on the canal banks in Tullamore and various locations.
Slieve Bloom photography club will run a photography competition in conjunction with the festival.
The theme for the competition is
Grand Canal Offaly Floating Festival
Each participant may submit 5 photos max
which will depict
the essence of the event.
The photograph must be taken between Friday 11th September (some boats will arrive in Tullamore
on Sunday 13th and Friday 25th September. It can be colour or black and white.
Only emailed photos will be included in the competition.

Each photo must include: Photographer Name / Contact Number / When & where taken
closing date is 5pm on Friday 28th September.
The prize will be a framed photograph of the winning entry and the winning picture
will be published in the central library Tullamore and the national IWAI magazine, Inland Waterways
News.
