Imagine It Social Studies Alive Chapter 2 Relevance/Rationale: Why are the outcomes of this lesson important in the real world? Why are these outcomes essential for future learning? Students need to understand that early Americans migrated into the United States. When these people came, they had to adapt to the environment around them. Adapting is always occurring and students should understand that certain environments caused differences in early Americans. Students will understand and be able to determine which theory of early migration they believe. SW be able to recognize that even professional scientist believe certain things based on evidence. This will help them understand that evidence helps prove a point. Formative Assessment Criteria for Success: How will you and your students know if they have successfully met the outcomes?
