COURSE DESCRIPTION AND GOALS Advanced Veterinary Science is a course designed for students interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine or another animal science career. The course will focus on small animals, large animals and wildlife. Topic of discussion will include animal rights vs. animal welfare, animal nutrition, animal reproduction, parasitology, animal restraint, and animal behavior.
