Activity #1:Target knockdown
 4 lanes ~ 5ft wide
 4 cones to mark each lane
 Marked starting position with
wall/bleachers as end
Activity #2: Pickle tag
 Half-court basketball gym/baseball
diamond/equivalent open playing area
 4-5 cones in a row on opposite ends of
court/field
Activity #3: Target decision
 Bleacher/wall as background
boundary
 Half-court basketball gym/open
playing area with wall
 Marked off starting point
 3 students per group
 4-5 groups
 Whole group
 3 students per group
 4-5 groups




 4 different colored poly spots
 5 of each color
 4-5 cones in a row on opposite ends of
court/field
 Foam ball
 3 hula hoops per group as
“bases”
 3 golf-clubs per group to hang
hula hoops on bleacher
 1 cone per group as “home
plate”
 Tennis ball
 1 student begins as designated “it”
person.
 Student who is “it” has ball and must
run around with ball held up tagging
runners.
 Runners move to designated poly
spots to avoid being tagged.
 Runners must be tagged with ball
 Runners who become tagged, join in
being “it”.
 Students will be given a game
situation.
 They will then field a ball that’s
in play.
 Once they receive/catch ball,
they must decide the
appropriate target/location to
make a play.
 Every “error” scores a run
against student
6 bowling pins per group
5 cones per group
3 poly spots per group
Foam ball
 Students stand at starting
position and will take turns
throwing ball at pins.
 Each student gets 2 tries per turn
 Each pin is worth 1 point. (6
points for strike)
 1 cone will be set in the middle
behind the 6 pins. 10 points for
knocking over CONE.
 Students tally points within small

Students can have 3 balls
Student fitness reward
instead of points
 Continue until last runner is tagged
Activity #2:
 Single lane with 3 poly spots
 3 students per group/lane
 4-5 groups/lanes





3 poly spots 10-15 feet apart
2 end poly spots: GREEN
Middle poly spot: RED
Foam ball
Tennis ball
 Base runner begins on red poly spot.
 Tagger can only tag runner out with
ball
 Runner must run between green poly
spots without being tagged
 Runner is only “safe” while on green.
 Reset back to red poly spot to begin
again.
 Runner must run within lane
otherwise will be automatically out.
 Students will rotate within their
groups.
