2015 Miss America Badge Ordering Instructions
The Official Miss America Badge is required for certain events and issued for identification and
security purposes. Badges allow access to Open Rehearsals (cameras not permitted), the Miss
America Trade Show and Contestant Visitation. Badges are the property of the Miss America
Organization and may only be used by the person to whom it is issued. Sharing of badges is a
serious security breach and will result in badge confiscation and removal of both parties from
the event. Miss America Organization officials may, at their discretion, revoke the use of a
badge at any time. The 2014 MAO Badge price is $40.00 each. Please submit the attached
form via e-mail to bethknox@missnc.org no later that Saturday, July 27th 2014. All badges
ordered after July 27th will have to be purchased through Miss America and may be delayed
in processing.
Badge Photo
• A digital headshot must accommodate each badge request.
• Each photo must identify: Name, Title, State Affiliation and/ or Relationship to the Contestant.
• All photos must be .jpeg files.
• If the proposed badge holder received a badge to the 2013 or 2014 National Finals, then the
photo is on file. Miss America does not have photos from badges issued 2011 or earlier.
Badge Affiliation

State Committee Badges - All State Committee members, their spouses and
children 21 yrs & older.
• Local Committee Badges - All Local Committee members, their spouses and children
21 yrs & older.
• Guest Badge - Miss North Carolina Sponsors, their guest, and former Miss North
Carolinas, their spouses and children 21 yrs & older.
• Special Guest Badges - State and Local Contestants currently eligible to compete in
the Miss America system and the children of our state and local volunteers between
the ages of 6 and 20 years old. (Badge Holder may attend “open” rehearsal, but not
functions with certain age restrictions or possible future judging conflicts)
• Parents, Family & Friends Badges - Parents, family members and friends of the National
Contestant only.
